Thank you for visiting! I'm truly grateful for the opportunity to connect and share the work I love. As a CPA, I often hear people say, "I could never do what you do." And I get it — accounting isn't everyone's cup of tea. But for me, it’s where numbers meet purpose.
With my accounting-focused education, diverse work experience, inherent attention to detail, and developed passion for helping others, I’ve seen how reliable financial reporting provides more than just numbers. It delivers clarity, confidence, and control. When your financial processes are accurate and well-managed, you can make informed decisions, avoid costly surprises, stay compliant, and grow with intention. Whether it’s identifying opportunities, managing risk, or simply gaining peace of mind, quality accounting lays the foundation for lasting success.

If you catch a hint of an accent, that’s just my Canadian roots showing through, eh!? Since 2012, Bellingham, WA has been my home-sweet-home. I’m grateful for the freedom and convenience of being near the border, with friends and family nearby in both Canada and the U.S.
Most of my time is spent with my husband, best friend, and business partner — Robby. We got married in 2016 and became co-owners of the family business in 2022. It’s not always easy switching hats, but there’s no one I trust more to share both life and work with.
Our mini-poodle, Ulysses, joined the family in 2019 and keeps us on our toes. He’s small in size but big in personality: outgoing, fearless, and always ready to make new friends.
I’m endlessly grateful to live in the Pacific Northwest. Hiking gives me the chance to unplug, breathe in the mountain air, and connect with nature, loved ones, and myself. And when we really want to get away, camping is our favorite escape. Robby always finds the most peaceful, off-the-grid spots where we can unwind and soak in the beauty of creation.
Your non-profit’s Form 990 is more than just a compliance requirement. It’s an opportunity to tell your story, showcase your impact, and demonstrate transparency to donors, grant makers, and the public. As a CPA experienced in non-profit filings, I help organizations stay compliant with IRS regulations while using the Form 990 to highlight the great work you do every day.
If you thought navigating the non-profit world was complex and unfamiliar, it’s even more challenging when operating as a church or religious organization. They are a niche-within-a-niche, subject to non-profit regulations with the added complexity of supporting clergy-specific arrangements (e.g. housing allowance, dual employment status for tax purposes) and navigating religious exceptions. Leaders often find themselves juggling regulatory compliance, staff management, payroll, and accountability to boards and congregations — all while trying to focus on ministry.
During my 4+ years as a Finance and Human Resources Director for a church, I saw first-hand the unique responsibilities church leaders carry. I have a deep appreciation for the delicate balance between financial stewardship, compliance, and caring for staff and congregations. My passion is to come alongside churches and ministries, offering guidance so leaders can carry out their mission with peace of mind and clarity.
Through my own experience and years of interacting with clients, I’ve seen firsthand how bookkeeping and accounting roles can feel a bit isolating. Often, these positions are filled by just one or two people, handling complex, detail-heavy tasks under pressure, usually without much of a safety net or backup. It’s a lot to carry!
At the same time, business owners and management who oversee these roles might find themselves at a loss. Without direct experience in the field (and often pulled in multiple directions with little margin to spare), it can be difficult to become proficient in accrual accounting, GAAP, or even to accurately assess an employee’s performance. It’s understandable, and it’s more common than you’d think.
That’s where I come in! Whether your team is brand new or seasoned and needing guidance, I’m here to provide hands-on training, answer the tough questions, and be a sounding board when things get tricky. My goal is to strengthen both the people and the process, helping your business run smoother and with more confidence. Let’s make sure no one feels like they’re carrying it all alone!
